Welcome to my technical Blog. Although this Blog and its contents are highly confidential but still i dare to share with you people in "Janhit" :P.. Kidding. Hope you would like it and share your valuable comments to make it worst :P. I used to think that when i'll do my own invention, i'll start writing Blog but i think that day is far away from me at least for now and my life is extremely uncertain. This is the case with yours also :P. So finally i took up my internal call and decided to write this precious text :P. Don;t dare to copy and redistribute it because this blog is under CCTV surveillance ;) :P ok! Lets give a kick start to this blog Not NOw!!! Say all the best to me first then only i'll start it :P. Thanks ! I got your "All the best " from your side.

I think starting this blog with technology like GPS would not be an injustice with current generation :P.  GPS : Global Position System. Let's talk about A-GPS first then in we'll jump to basics of GPS (As people are least interested in these kind of activities and i have to run my business well :P )  A-GPS :If you are using an smartphone, probably A-GPS is the things which allows you to get the location of a place and trace a particular path.  The idea behind A-GPS is GPS Device like a smartphone having a GPS receiver, receives GPS signals which contains the time when that particular satellite sends a message to our phone and the location of that particular satellite. Similar kind of data is obtained from other satellite too. Using some equation called navigation equation, we get the lat, long of the receiver and date and time (Which is the date and time of the satellite).      Standalone GPS provides first position in approximately 30–40 seconds. A Standalone GPS system needs orbital information of the satellites to calculate the current position. The data rate of the satellite signal is only 50 bit/s, so downloading orbital information like ephemeris and almanac directly from satellites typically takes a long time, and if the satellite signals are lost during the acquisition of this information, it is discarded and the standalone system has to start from scratch. In A-GPS, the Network Operator deploys an AGPS server. These AGPS servers download the orbital information from the satellite and store it in the database. An AGPS capable device can connect to these servers and download this information using Mobile Network radio bearers such as GSMCDMAWCDMALTE or even using other wireless radio bearers such as Wi-Fi. Usually the data rate of these bearers is high, hence downloading orbital information takes less time.1. Cold Start 2. Warm Start 3. Hot Start  IN first case the GPS device does not have the previous data i.e. the last time data when it was connected to satellites. So obviously here if we start a GPS device in cold mode, it takes more time to lock the GPS (Lock means to find the current location of satellites). Since data rate is just 50 b(bits)/sec from satellite to GPS which is very less so it takes a lot of time. So in order to reduce this time, we have A-GPS which can directly take the location of satellites from a GPS server located nearby. These servers are basically maintained by service providers. They keep dumping the data regularly. So one can easily get the current satellite locations to lock GPS through GPRS, 3G and data networks. This reduces time taken and hence a better and real time performance we have. This is the reason why we need internet ON when we are using GPS.
